Ausgetrunken stores the account you create, the winery and wine information you enter, and the wineries you subscribe to. It does not sell your data. You can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app, on either platform, and change your mind for 30 days.
01Who Is Responsible
Marko Nonninger (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Ausgetrunken mobile application (the “App”) for Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use the App.
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
02Information We Collect
Account information
You can sign in with an email address and password, with Sign in with Apple, or with a Google account. In every case we store:
- Email address
- User type (Winery Owner or Customer)
- Profile information you provide
- Authentication credentials, handled by our authentication provider
If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, we only ever see the relay address Apple gives us. When you sign in with Apple we also store a refresh token, so that deleting your account can revoke Apple's grant on your behalf.
For winery owners
- Winery name and description
- Location and address information
- Contact information
- Winery photos
- Wine catalog information (names, descriptions, prices, vintage information)
- Inventory data
- Subscription status, if you purchase a paid plan
For customers
- Wine and winery subscriptions, favourites, ratings and reviews you create
- Location data, only while you use map or nearby features and only with your permission
- Notification preferences

04Services That Process Your Data
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers below, each for a single, named purpose, and with the other users you deliberately share it with — a winery profile you publish is visible to customers by design.
Supabase — accounts, database and photos
Supabase provides authentication, the database holding winery, wine, subscription and notification records, file storage for all uploaded photos, and the server functions that run scheduled tasks such as account deletion. This is where the substance of your data lives.
Google Firebase — notifications, crashes and analytics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers push notifications to your device
- Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports so failures can be diagnosed
- Firebase Analytics: collects aggregated usage statistics (Android)
Google Maps
The map and location-picker features use the Google Maps SDK. When you open a map, your approximate or precise location may be processed by Google in order to render it.
App stores and payments
Paid winery subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple's App Store on iOS. Payment details are handled entirely by the respective store — we never see or store your card data. We receive only the fact that a subscription is active and when it expires.
Legal requirements
Data may additionally be disclosed where the law requires it.
These providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, including in the United States, under the transfer mechanisms in their own data processing terms.
Security measures
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Row Level Security in the database, so each account reaches only its own records
- Secure authentication protocols
- Regular security updates
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
05Your Rights and Choices
Access and update
You can access and update your profile information within the App at any time.
Location services
You can enable or disable location access in your device settings. Map and nearby-winery features need it; the rest of the App works without it.
Push notifications
You can opt out of push notifications through:
- App settings
- Device notification settings
- Unsubscribing from a specific winery or wine
Analytics and crash reporting
You can limit advertising and analytics identifiers in your device settings (Android: Privacy → Ads; iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking).
06Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the App, on both Android and iOS. Open your profile (winery owners on iOS: tap your profile picture), choose Delete account and confirm.
What happens
- Your account is marked for deletion and you are signed out immediately.
- For 30 days you can undo it by simply signing in again. Nothing has been removed yet during that window.
- After 30 days a scheduled job permanently deletes the account. This step is irreversible.
What is deleted
- Your user account and login credentials
- Your profile and, for winery owners, your winery and its entire wine catalog
- All uploaded photos — profile, winery, wine and presentation images
- Ratings, reviews, favourites and flavour tags you created
- Your winery and wine subscriptions, and your stored notifications
- Your subscription records and your push notification token
- The Sign in with Apple grant, which is revoked with Apple on your behalf
Once the 30 days have elapsed and the deletion has run, the data cannot be recovered. If you lose access to the App before you can delete your account, write to ausgetrunken@markono.dev from your registered email address. Full details are on the account deletion page.
07Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age (or the minimum legal drinking age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
08Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as:
- Your account is active
- It is needed to provide the service
- It is required by law
When you delete your account, everything listed in section 6 is removed after the 30-day grace period, unless we are required to retain something by law. Crash reports and aggregated analytics are kept by the respective provider under their own retention periods and are not linked back to your account once it is gone.
09Legal Compliance
This Privacy Policy is written to comply with:
- The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP)
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the EU and EEA
- The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California users
- Google Play and Apple App Store requirements
